Eleven

Is this even possible?

Still 11 embryos, all 8-cells at this point

Transfer is scheduled for Saturday at 10:45 EST

In other news, (tmi) I just managed to take my 6 pm dose of estrace (as directed) in the bathroom of the Amtrack train. Eewww. At Least it wasn't moving at the time.

(I think I included that last bit of info because I've been reading Jenny Lawson's book all day and found myself gripped with a sudden urge to overshare)

  7. Wow, wow, wow. You are in my heart, as are all 11 of those embies and Mr. August. SUPER impressed by the Amtrak train bathroom feat. As, surely, was A.

I will be holding visions of embryos nestling into a cozy red fleece at 10:45 am tomorrow.

And this afternoon when I ride Amtrak (for the first time in a decade!)to a wedding in New Haven (one of Mrs. Oat's old friends), I will visit the bathroom on the train and be even more impressed at your super-hero-ness.

I love you and wish for wonderful things tomorrow,
    Oat

  8. Your idea of TMI is very genteel, my friend. BUT ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!?!?! ELEVEN EMBRYOS!?!?! Oh Sophie, I love you so much for your fabulous eggs. (And of course, I love Mr. August too for his magic sperm.) This is such a fantastic place to be right now. I hope everything goes perfectly tomorrow--I will be thinking of you and sending my very best implantation vibes.
